The operating system for golf course operations

Every course you look after, on one honest map.

The business of running a course and the daily work of keeping it alive have never spoken the same language. TurfOps puts them in the same place, on a living map of the ground itself.

01Why it exists

One place for a job that has always been split in two.

A course superintendent lives in a group chat and a stack of spreadsheets. The company running the business lives in month end and board meetings. Between the two, the mower that broke last Tuesday becomes nobody's problem and everybody's. TurfOps closes that gap, for the people who run courses, the companies who maintain them, and the suppliers who serve both.

02The canvas

Open it, and you are looking at the ground, not a menu.

Every site you manage sits on a single map, coloured by how it is actually doing. Amber where a licence is close to lapsing, red where a job has run well over, green where all is well. Zoom in and the course is real. The greens, the fairways, the tees and the water, drawn from proper geometry rather than a pin dropped on a road.

De Zalze Golf Estate, Stellenbosch. Drawn from the course's own geometry, held in TurfOps.

03Fleet

Machinery you can finally account for.

Hundreds of millions of rands in equipment move between courses, and until now nobody could say for certain where a loader was or who last had it. TurfOps signs equipment across from one site to another, both sides confirming the hours, the condition and the photos. Fuel, services and licences all sit against the machine. When something breaks, its history is right there, and so is the person who signed for it.

04Compliance

A chemical register that keeps itself.

Applications are recorded to the letter of Act 36, with the weather at the moment of spraying captured on its own, no clipboard needed. Licences warn you long before they expire. When an inspector asks, the register is a click away rather than a shoebox in the office.

05The field

Made for gloved hands and thin signal.

A four digit PIN gets a greenkeeper onto the app with no email address and no password to forget. It keeps working when the signal drops out on the back nine, and quietly syncs the moment it returns. The people doing the work were the first we designed for, not the last.

06Ownership

Your data, your tools, your colours.

No lock in and no per seat surprises. The maps are free and open, your records are yours to export, and each organisation can wear its own name and its own colours. If you would rather point your own assistant at your operation and simply ask it a question, you can, because TurfOps speaks to modern AI from the start.

Ready when you are.

TurfOps is in early access with Golf Data, thirty five years and as many courses into looking after Southern African turf. If that sounds like your world, come in and have a look.
